In addition to the in-house team, NPL have engaged market leading consultants for waste disposal projects in the UK.
The technical and financial feasibility aspects of this specialised project have been undertaken by Wardell Armstrong. NPL has good experience of working with Wardell Armstrong in the past and this project will continue and enhance the relationship. Recent projects for Wardell Armstrong include Gold & Nickel mines throughout the world where after assessing feasibility they prepared designs for the mines' infrastructure. In the UK Waste sector they have submitted planning applications, and designed and supervised construction of waste projects.
In order to understand the market and catchment for potential use of the mine, NPL appointed Derek Gough Associates to carry out Market Research in the relevant fields of waste. This work together with others provides the Needs Study required for planning together with the likely client base of waste producers. Again, NPL have previous working relations with Derek Gough Associates over several years.
